The Power of Your Thoughts

Sometimes in life, we are unsure of why we feel a certain way or act a certain way, or even why we say certain things. It all starts with the things you that you think. When you first wake up in the morning. When you look in the mirror. When you are talking on the phone or getting ready for your day. What you think is so powerful that it predicates how you feel, and the very things that you do.

Scripture tells us in Psalm 27:3 that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. You literally become what you think. So if your focus or thought pattern is on what this person called you in your childhood, or how that person labeled you at work or in your social circle, or how that one you loved in this relationship treated you like you weren't enough, so maybe you aren't; you take on those labels and opinions of others as truth. But we have to reprogram our thinking and choose to believe who God says that we are and walk in those truths.

This is why God tells us in Romans 12:2 to be not conformed to this world, but to be TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND; that ye may prove what is that good, perfect and acceptable will of God. The mind is the battlefield, and the enemy knows that, so anything that he can do to distract you keeps you from performing the will of God and purpose for your life! The magnitude of it is unreal, but also why God emphasizes how important it is to keep your mind stayed on Him, so that He can keep you in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).

Today, focus on renewing your mindset and being transformed. It starts with scripture (you have your first three right here in this message) and you speaking out what God says concerning you until you BELIEVE IT and WALK IN IT. Are you ready? Let's go!

Your purpose is calling.
